Spaghetti Towers Period 4

Jenna was the accountant.
Stefanie was the forewoman.
Shane was the architect.
We liked that our design for our tower included different shapes such as triangles and squares, but we didn't like that it didn't really look like a legit tower. Our tower was 82 centimeters tall and we used 23 sticks and 9 marshmallows for a total of $320. The biggest challenge was not breaking our spaghetti and getting the tower to stand up straight. We overcame these problems by holding the spaghetti gently and making our tower sturdier by adding more support with other noodles.
If we could redo our tower we would make it actually look like a tower and have a flag on top. (Note: our complete tower picture was not shown due to technical difficulties.)

Self Evaluation:
  1. During this activity I was frusterated because it was difficult to reach the required height without everything breaking and at certain times I did want to give up.
  2. Our design is pretty similar to others in the room because we made a pyramid but had a square based bottom.
  3. If I could add another material to the mix I would add card board because it would be sturdierand act as walls for the tower.
  4. My contribution was being the forewoman and physically building the tower.
